Chestnut Ridge was such a good place to live, we lived there all last year without even seeing it before moving from 14 hours away. Overall, there was no issues and I just want to shout out Joe (Head of maintenance) he was the best guy and he was there anytime we needed help! He cares about the people and is hilarious! We will miss him!
I lived here for two years. Was a great complex. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Close enough to main thoroughfares but back into the neighborhood enough to be mostly quiet.
Deja was always a delight and very helpful.
If I wast relocating I would have stayed.

I lived at Chestnut Ridge from around 2021-2023. Most of my time spent there was pretty good. Joe from Maintence was very cool and nice. The reason I give this place a One Star is because of the DEJA. Deja is the front desk/office manager person and she is EXTREMELY RUDE and condescending. She never follows through with what she says she will do and will tell you whatever she needs to get you away from her. She is a completely rude and disrespectful person. She personally gave Chestnut Ridge a one star in my mind. She is a terrible worker.
Deja is the worst Manager and rarely in the office or on site during normal business hours. When she is asked to do her job but it takes a little effort or brain power, she "throws her hands up in the air" then just stops responding to you.
We'd all love to have a job where there's 0 consequences when we don't actually do it.
And ignore the piles of trash you're expected to wade through to get to a dumpster - a consistent problem since October 2022 that usually only gets taken care of when there's an Owner or Corporate inspection. This is on Deja as the Manager (not on Maintenance people), since she can't be bothered to find a new company to maintain the dumpster enclosures.
I’ve lived at Chestnut Ridge for two years now and have loved it! I wrote a review when I first moved in but wanted to add to my original review that the property has been a great place to live. Management is fantastic and the maintenance team is awesome. Recently on the maintenance team Joe has fixed a couple things in my kitchen and he’s been wonderful. The work was completed quickly and Joe was super on top of communicating to make sure everything was done!
Chestnut apartments is well managed and the by far the best maintenance I ever had. Joe is always on top of it and he cares. The sad thing is the tenants won’t know how great they have it until they leave.
